Marvin Android Wav
The Motorola Droid 2 from Verizon Wireless is one of the newest smart phones offering the latest Android equipment and software available. With it's increased processing power and double the RAM as the original Droid, the Droid 2 also has 8gb worth of storage in the phone itself.
This affords you plenty of room to store all kinds of things, incuding music files. Add in whatever size MicroSD card you choose to utilize with your Droid 2, up to 32gb, and you have yourself a smart phone that also doubles as a pretty handy mp3 player.
Copying Music to a Motorola Droid 2
The proceeding steps outline how you can successfully transfer music from your computer to your wireless device. Here's how.
- Begin by connecting your Motorola Droid 2 to your PC/laptop by using the USB cable that was included with your phone at the time of purchase. When the USB cable is in place between your Droid 2 and computer, the status bar on your device will display USB connected.
- Slide down the status bar using your finger to now display your notification box. In your box will be a notice that says “Media Share.” Touch this notice and then click “Ok” to open up the next step.
- You can now access the memory card on phone from your computer. This will be available to you either as new window that opens asking you to view your device’s folder, or through the “My Computer” folder found in your “Start Menu” as a removable disk.
- At this time, you can create a folder titled “Music” to simplify storage for yourself and keep files a bit more organized on your Droid 2.
- Once your Music folder has been created, you may now begin transferring your music files from your computer on to your device.
- When you are finished transferring your selected music files, go back into the “My Computer” folder of your computer. Right Click the corresponding removable disk drive for your Droid 2 and click “Eject Disk.”
- You can now disconnect the USB cable from your Motorola Droid 2 and begin enjoying the music everywhere you go with your mobile device.
That is it. Your new Android phone is now ready to double as your portable mp3 player everywhere you go.
