The Samsung Galaxy Tab’s slogan is, “Live Life Without Limits,” and it certainly looks the part. The design is sleek and is a little smaller than the iPad with a 7 inch screen compared to the iPads 9.7 inch, this can be seen as good or bad, agreed you don’t get the screen size of the iPad, but, the overall size is reduced making it much more portable. Over all nothing but good things can be said for the build quality, it feels good in your hand and is unmistakably a quality product.

Android Verses Apple?

The Samsung Galaxy Tab was the first of what is sure to be a lot of forthcoming Android powered Tabs, all seeking to dethrone the iPad. So the Galaxy Tab really did have to set the bar high if it was to compete with the already established iPad. What was sure to be one of the biggest factors, as with the smart phone war that is currently waging, was the amount of applications, or apps available for the Android, in comparison with the multitude available for the Apple iPad.
