A new study done by the Pew Institute, reveals that thirty five percent of adult Americans now own a smartphone, and that they are using them increasingly to cruise the Internet.

The Pew Research Center for the People & the Press is according to its website, an independent, non-partisan public opinion research organization that studies attitudes toward politics, the press and public policy issues." Known internationally for its research efforts, the Center announced the results of its study on the cell phone habits of Americans, on July 11.
